Agronomy CDE Information

WASHINGTON STATE ONLY

State Crops CDE that has switched to the National Agronomy Format.
The contest will follow the National Contest rules and points possible.
Changes that will be made are

• The team event will be shortened and simplified to meet time constraints.
• We will be using the Washington State Crops, Weeds and Seed list (2001 list).....NOT THE NATIONAL LIST!!!
• This list can be downloaded from the CDE WEB PAGE in an EXCEL Spreadsheet Format.

Clarifications

• Washington State Agronomy CDE will be a 4/5 format.
• Team event points will count toward the team score....and NOT FOR INDIVIDUAL PLACING!!!
• Odd/Even year rotation.

Knowledge Test - Questions will come from 1999, 2000, and 2001 National Agronomy CDE, as well as the CCA questions and the Ag Explorer CD Rom.  Ag Explorer is available from Hamilton-Locke.  Search on-line for Ag-Explorer.
